We went to this cosy pub on Good Friday with our son and his girlfriend who were visiting from London. Despite bring very busy, the landlady (?) behind the bar was extremely friendly and welcoming and pointed out a table becoming vacant near the fire. We had a lovely lunch of crab sandwiches, salt and pepper squid. My son had the fish goujons which were very large with a very light batter and delicious judging by the sample he gave me to taste. There was also a good range of local real ales. The pub appeared to cater equally well for both locals and visitors. As we live not too far away(just in Cornwall), we will be back before long.
