This has to be one of the smallest NT propertiesd and is well worth a visit. The rooms are small and very atmospheric and it is hard to imagine howe they coped with climbing the vertical stone steps to the sleeping "balcony".
The gardens are very pretty and give a different view of the house so definitely worth going through the door to have a look.

The Tintagel Post Office is an attraction that most will see and visit on a trip to the north Cornish coastline. It's traditional cornish stone and timber framed - the beams have 'given' over the many years until, having settled, they now give the roof its crazy shape but remain sound and will do for years to come. Inside, the building is plain. There's little to retain you for more than 30 minutes tops but it's certainly quaint, well presented and cared for.

Well worth a look to get a glimpse into the past and see just how small rooms used to be! Information available on cards in each room to explain the objects on display.

Today this wonderful house nestles in the heart of Tintagel to thing that at one time there were only some small houses around it so making this building outstanding. It didn’t become ac’post office’ until 1870 but was then close as a post office in 1878. The house is layer out to give to gull feeling of a very much loved home. , the parlour, Hall/kimchi and post room down stairs and the north and south bedrooms. Very quirky staircases take yo yo these rooms. All rooms are very well presented and you can imagine living in them yourself. There is a wonderfully planted garden, not big but very well planed. Take 5 mins yo just sit and take in the atmosphere and look at how the house is built. A visit her to the lovely National Trust property will not disappoint.

Cute, interesting and incredibly old but it does not take a great deal of your time to see everything.
