Oh wow there are so many people here and quite a few things to buy including food and the fish, it does smell a bit. The café area is always so popular and a great place to come and meet friends.

I love this market for its individuality. For me the best stall is "wild food" where you can buy THE best smoked fish around! Hot smoked Salmon, Cold Smoked Salmon, Haddock as well as fresh fish of all types, freshly picked crab and huge prawns. Just go see Mark for the most tastiest fish and fantastic service. Cheers.

It didn't look like much from the outside but were glad that we decided to walk through the entrance into the Courtyard.

Built in 1828, it is filled with a myriad of shops, including an upholsterer, pet store, hardware, farm shop and even a barber shop! This place must be quite a fun and lively experience on market days and when all the stores are open!

Loved Wild Food Devon! The owner explained about the various fish and seafood caught in local waters with patience and good humour!

There is huge potential here and could do with a wider variety of shops to appeal to the average visitor (I mean, how many folks go to a market for an upholstery shop?), but it is quaint with the old cobblestones and a lovely place to stroll through for some local shopping and culture.

this is a very old market which dates back a couple of hundred years, it has quite a few craft shops and a couple of good cafes , just part of the old part of town and good to see .
