“Takes Stunning Views To New Heights”
Reviewed 22 June 2012 for a stay in May 2012

Although there is much to praise in this accommodation the one lasting memory you will have is the view. Dartmouth is such a picturesque town and Harbour Heights affords you the perfect vantage point to drink in the scenery.

The only disadvantage of this view (and of the property) is returning on foot to the location from the town centre. Atop an extremely steep hill, the walk back is challenging for someone of average fitness that at times I thought I might need a Sherpa.

Fortunately we were advised by Ann, the owner of Harbour Heights, to take taxi backs (which cost only £2.50 due to the short distance it was from the town centre) - I definitely concur that you do the same.

I was part of a large party of eighteen however you never felt on top of each other due to the considerable size of the location. In fact it was possible for the night owls amongst us to continue partying long into the early hours while not disturbing the less nocturnal from their sleep.

Each bedroom was well furnished and spacious. The bathrooms were clean and modern. However during our stay the main hub of activity was the lounge/dining area which provided a perfectly comfortable location for us to relax-in despite the large size of our group.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner Ann who gave us a whistle stop tour of the property and gave us a number of helpful tips for out stay (where to eat, drink and of course get a taxi when travelling back) before leaving us to get on with our weekend. I also received a very friendly email from Ann that made me feel that if I did have any burning questions to ask her about the property or Dartmouth she was there if we needed her. However she has provided such a wealth of information regarding the area at the property that this was not needed.

I fell in love with Dartmouth that weekend as it is a beautiful seaside town but I realise staying in this splendid accommodation massively played its part.

“usp - view view view”
Reviewed 9 June 2012 for a stay in June 2012

just spent 5 nights over the Jubilee holiday at Harbour Heights with extended family - aged 1 - 89!!
had atrocious weather but every time you glanced out the window it gave you a holiday lift!!
Ann was wonderful over the whole booking process ( we were so indecisive over numbers + dates ) and was really helpful with information + ideas
Marie prepares the house so that it gleams
the house is extremely well stocked with china, glassware + utensils
there is a fridge and a decent size fridge freezer and a very efficient dishwasher
if you are intending to cook for a large group be aware that the oven is a single which is also the grill
Dartmouth is a great choice for a varied group as there are so many options like with visiting Greenway ( home of Agatha Christie ) you can go by ferry or heritage steam train or drive
highlight for kids was the crabbing - one evening in the harbour they watched shoals of mackerel and a seal
planning to return to do some of the walks in the area and enjoy the sands and ferry trips - hopefully in better weather

“Wow!!”
Reviewed 6 June 2012 for a stay in June 2012

The photos on this house truely do not do it justice! The views over looking dartmouth are simply stunning! A group of us attended for a hen do and would happily recommend the property to anyone looking at visiting dartmouth. Ann the owner was very accomendating giving us advice on places to see, and things to do. The location of this house is near to town, and if you dont want to do the 5 minute walk a taxi from the center of town was only £3!! I would definately go again if given the opportunity

“Best views across whole of Dartmouth and fantastic spacious house .”
Reviewed 4 June 2012 for a stay in May 2012

Just had a wonderful holiday here in this fab house and fantastic location and the weather has been really hot.. The house is postioned high above the town and has the most amazing views from all the rooms but I especially loved sitting on the big balcony and having tea /wine/food watching the world go by and sun-bathing !The view is magnificent and I could spend hours just looking.
Harbour Heights has great facilities and is only a short distance from the town centre where there are lots of individual shops and lovely places to eat and then just sitting by the river watching all boats ! It is a lovely place to chill and relax .

“the best views ever and a lovely house to”
Reviewed 23 April 2012 for a stay in April 2012

I booked this property for my stag weekend . The owner Ann was really easy to deal with and was very accommodating to any requests. The house is in a fantastic location 5 minute walk down a steep hill into the heart of the town. The walk back home is quite tough but a taxi fare of £2.50 between 4 seemed to be the better option!!!. The house has 6 bedrooms all with wash and shower rooms either en suite or adjacent. The kitchen has all equipment needed and a lovely tv room dining room and open plan lounge with outside balcony complement it very well .Outside parking for 3 cars on the drive and street parking opposite available if a space is available.A great house a great location and a great owner thanks Harbour Heights
