We recently dined at Angela's our pre Xmas get together, this was our first time at Angela's and will most definitely not be our last
We were greeted with a warm welcome by the lady herself
The food was exceptionally good very tasty without being over complex like some high end restaurants a nice wine selection to compliment the menu
A great night with great food service and company

I could not fault a single thing. The food is beyond excellent, locally sourced, well presented, fresh and cooked to order in a lovely restaurant. Angela herself is chatty, charming and knowledgeable and gave a personal touch to the evening as well as her staff.

You get what you pay for and this is worth every single penny. Will return at any opportunity and recommend to anyone.

Having found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, we were delighted to find what we regard as an excellent dining venue. The service was warm and welcoming, the food was beautifully presented and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We were celebrating a minor anniversary but it was acknowledged in the dessert - a lovely touch. We will definitely revisit and recommend it to friends. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked and lovely to look at. The restaurant is small and intimate, spotlessly clean and a joy to behold.

The service was good and it had a nice atmosphere but sadly it was overpriced for what we ate. We could taste the yeast in the homemade bread, the steak (approx £30) was over cooked (asked for medium and got well done) and tough, and the Crème brûlée hadn’t set. All in all it was disappointing as is highly rated on Trip Advisor, and I’m not entirely sure why - maybe it was just an off night.
