Really friendly community pub which serves great food. Can recommend the steak. The wine list is somewhat limited, but if you're looking for really good home cooked food this place is for you.

Stayed in a local B&B, we needed an evening meal and was told there was a pub serving food under a mile down the road.
Very surprised to hear it was a community pub run by volunteers.
Great atmosphere and brilliant real pub food.

Went to the Stoke Canon Inn for a meal last night, steak cooked to perfection and everyone loved their food. We will be making this a regular place to eat from now on. Top marks to the chef!

Nipped down the local pub for tea and had a very enjoyable meal.
2 meals and 2 pints of cider for £20 - BARGAIN.
Excellent value, excellent service.

What a lovely landlord! He entertained the kids & the parents with a game of Frustration. The food was amazing. I had he giant Yorkshire pudding with sausages. I would go back tomorrow if I could!
