The Hoe is just a ten minute walk up from the centre of town and is well worth the visit. It was from here that Sir Francis Drake espied the approaching Spanish Armada.
Now you can savour a magnificent seascape as a myriad of ships make their way to and fro the ports of Plymouth. There are plenty of cafes, seats and toilets along the front as well as a magnificent memorial garden at the top of the Hoe

Lovely views - parked in a designated disabled parking area which was just perfect for one of our party who was able to sit in the car and take in the great views

Clean, wide open and just so relaxing. Love walking around the area taking in the views and reading the memorials. It's a must visit area if you are in the city.
