I booked this hotel through TripAdvisor and filtered my search for hotels with breakfast and wifi included. No complaints about the wifi, but the deal on TA didn't include breakfast and I only found this out when I got the confirmation email. Breakfast was £10 extra, so I didn't bother with it. If I'd known, I would've booked a different hotel.
Bedroom was pretty (recently decorated, but with classic style hotel furniture, not that ugly geometric furniture too many hotels have put in in the name of modernity) and clean. Bed was comfortable, but I still woke up 3 times in the middle of the night. Only the 3rd time did I realise what was going on: over the first really warm weekend of the year, they still had the central heating on. Maybe I was just still half-asleep, but I couldn't spot the thermostat and had to open the window instead, which isn't very green and puts one at risk of mozzie bites, but dammit, I had to get some sleep somehow.
Staff generally OK (explained about the botch-up re breakfast to receptionist, but she said there was nothing she could do about it, which is plausible, so I guess it would be unfair to hold that against her) and of course, this being a big hotel, it had a luggage room, which was v. handy as I went to Bournemouth to do some adventure sports for my birthday. Still, if I visit again, I'll probably book somewhere else.
