Not the best pier in England but worth a visit anyway. The pier boasts a zip-line that looks like it would be great fun on a sunny day.

Play amusements but don't expect to win anything. All of the tipping machines have huge piles of 2p or 10p that look as if they are about to fall. But they are so heavy with coins they don't move and coins fall down slots at the side. We fed £1.50 into the machine and just 6p winnings dropped out. Didnt expect to walk out in profit, but didn't expect the money to go so quickly. After we went for walk along the pier and would loved to of sat down and enjoy the sun on our faces, but there were only 2 or 3 benches along the whole length. I'm sure the pier was so much better when I was a kid.

A trip to the seaside means a walk on the pier, sadly Bournemouth pier is not very exciting. The only thing that was good was watching the people on the zip wire and watching people trying to surf. Luckily the gates were open so we didn't have to pay.
