Stayed here for a fridayand saturday night along with girlfriend and 8 other family members.
Clean and comfortable enough room but lacked a wardrobe to hang things and the word 'bijou' is being polite and we had a superior room.
We were lucky and had a front view room, but others complained of a brick wall view. Try hard not to get the top floors unless you are a fitness freak and never come home a bit worse for wear :)
Breakfast was very clean and tasty with friendly staff but the breakfast room is tired and worn out and could not accommodate us all in one go.
All in all a nice place, but in my opinion overpriced for what is essentially a B & B
Would i stay again ?? Only if i could find nothing more value for money.

Room Tip: Front facing and lower floors essential.

We have stayed here several times before, but now a change of ownership and nothing has changed. Rosie and Ricky are a delightful young couple, friendly and willing to please. Breakfasts still good and rooms spotlessly clean. The situation is perfect for everything and would not wish to stay anywhere else. We usually choose the superior room which is a bit pricey, but a nice enough room when you think that Brighton is expensive in any event. We will be back!

Room Tip: Superior rooms obviously are the best, but bring ear plugs as weekend revellers can make a bit of no...

Staff were very friendly on arrival and also in the morning during breakfast. The breakfast was full English which was cooked to our requirements. Room was quite small but very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and shower was hot. Overall all a pleasant stay.

We booked the superior room which was big enough, very clean, hot shower able to hang our clothes up (not a lot as only a weekend) but no wardrobe was not an issue. Very friendly and helpful staff and really good breakfast and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We did leave something behind in the room which they kindly posted on to us.

This area is 'lively' with bars and restaurants.

Room Tip: Quieter rooms at the back but are adequate. Superior room at the front larger. Good location for pie...

If you stay here do not expect to be wowed...the room we had cost £171 for two midweek nights but was only worth £50 a night at most. A double room but only one bedside table with a pointless ugly plastic see through chair in it that you could not cal!
