We booked on the advice of TripAdvisor and were very pleased with the results.
We arrived a little early and were offered a chance to enjoy a drink at the tables outside or a table downstairs. As it was a warm evening, downstairs didn't appeal. We were called in early to a warm table inside - the pizza oven was a few yards away.
While this sounds negative, the ambience made up for any problems: the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We ordered veal and steak, but the table next to us had gone for the home-made pizzas, and they looked superb. - Next time in Brighton: choose the pizzas -. The service was discrete: the staff left alone the bottle we had in an ice bucket, whereas in other restaurants they come up and offer you another glass.
All in all, next time we are in Brighton, this is where we'll be.
