Quiet restaurant but don't think it's not good; lovely staff, clean inside, prompt and really good curry. Mango chutney was watery and poppadum under cooked but main meal very good. Definitely visit again.

The curries and nan bread that we had were really delicious. However there was a huge disappointment in that I ordered Sag Paneer as listed on the menu and what turned up was clearly Sag Cheddar! When I queried this I was told firstly that they cannot get hold of paneer (even Sainsbury's sell it now), then I was told that "the locals don't like paneer because it's too smelly"! If you're selling Sag Cheddar at least say that on the menu and be honest about it. There was also the constant loud ringing of the phone and the floor was covered in dropped food which hadn't been cleared up.

This restaurant serves a wide range of Indian food. There were very few customers when we arrived, although it was quite early. We were seated quickly and left to select our choices. There was a short delay in taking our orders, but when the food was served the quality and portion size was very good and represented good value. The main course food was served at a good temperature and with hot plates. Although friendly and pleasant, service between courses was a little slow, but this may be restaurant policy. The initial basic appearance of this restaurant understates the range and standard of food provided.

collected my telephone order after 20 minutes, was ready although kitchen obviously busy. excellent vegetable biryani, and chicken korma. best value for money anywhere, as all real spices are used, and the flavours are delicious.

Thank riazon
