Let’s keep it simple. Here’s all you need to know: WE DO BEER. We have an ever-changing selection of craft beers. Whether you’re after a schooner from our tap wall, or want to work your way through our choice selection of bottled goodness, we’re sure you’ll find a favourite. Our beer list is curated by Beer Collective, and includes (among others) the likes of Northern Monk, Madhatter, Fourpure, and local brewers Bison Beer and Two Tribes. WE DO VINYL. Our music policy is straight forward: All vinyl, all the time. During the day our staff will be spinning choice tunes from our 5000+ strong collection of vinyl. You’re welcome to have a dig through our stacked shelves, or even bring your own records, and select the soundtrack to your time at DWHQ. Every evening we have live all-vinyl DJs, spinning until the small hours, spanning the genres night-by-night! On top of this, we also host a weekly comedy music quiz, live scratch events, pop-up record stores… It’s well worth checking out our listings -there’s always something ace going on! WE DO PIZZA. That’s right. Every day - 12pm-9pm, the Pressing Plant Pizza Co. fire up the stone-bake oven and chefs roll out fresh sour dough bases to order. With meaty, veggie AND vegan options, our crispy, topping-heavy pizzas are the bomb.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good price on drinks and the best place to go for Vegan Pizza in Brighton (caters for Veggie and Meaties too, so you can go as a mixed group no problem).

This place has the best vibe. We went fine midnight til closing (2am) and there was such a good crowd. Reasonable prices too - the design is so cool and would really recommend to anyone who wants a couple of chilled drinks with some music and a funky interior!

I went to Dead Wax for the two for one pizzaa recently, but I've been here loads of times and always have a great time.

The pizzas are SO good, loads of vegan options and the vegan cheese works so well that my omnivore partner usually goes for the vegan one too. The music is always great and the staff are always lovely to my dog.

It gets pretty busy and loud in the evenings, so I recommend earlier doors for pizza, beer and a catch up, and later for drinks and dancing. I have been a few times late at night and always end up making friends with girls in the loos, people seem laid back and the vibe is very relaxed.

If you're after great vegan pizza, beers and a good late night venue for a dance, this is it.

Love the atmosphere and drinks available at Dead Wax and got to try the food for the first time on my last visit. The garlic bread is delicious, as was the pizza; with the offer that was on making it even more enticing.
Unfortunately, there was too much vegan cheese on the vegan pizza we ordered and barely any of the other toppings. Don't know if this was because they were just busy or if it was because it was a BOGOF offer but it was rather disappointing after hearing such good things.

Visited for drinks after dinner on a busy Friday night, this place was close to our hotel and relatively quiet. Initial small bar area opens up into a much bigger space, played chilled music and has a big selection of vinyl records to look at. Air conditioning was pretty cold in the small bar but much better in the open space. Drinks as expected. Quirky bar.
