Reviewed 30 June 2008

My husband and I just stayed for 3 nights at the Castlehill Guest House, located high atop a hill overlooking the English Channel in Hastings, UK. Hastings is located in East Sussex along the southeast coast of England. We traveled there by train from London which was an easy 2 hr trip. It was a much welcomed respite from our week in the city. The guest House was a 15 minute walk from the Hastings train station, although taxis are readily available. The guest house provides spectacular sea views, comfortable, clean rooms and delicious home-cooked breakfasts. Old Town Hastings is an enchanting town of ancient castle ruins, medieval houses, churches, antique shops, art galleries and outstanding food served at local pubs and restaurants. We spent one entire day walking scenic pathways high along cliffs overlooking the sea, all within walking distance of the Guest House. Maps and brochures were provided to us by Anna, the owner of the guest house. Castlehill Guest House is highly recommended to all.
