Met a friend here for lunch on good Fri with our 2 daughter's ( 5 and 4)
What luxury- being able to sit and chat together whilst our 2 had great fun in the play zone.
Service was faultless, food excellent. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the child could have been hotter!
Otherwise lovely.

We had a table reserved for my brother in Laws Birthday, at teatime. We had not been for a while but thought we would give it a go... we ordered one meal off of the menu and the rest of us decided on the buffet (curry night) help yourself as much as you like. Well it was nasty... naan bread was as hard as a rock as were the onion chafe. No signs to advise what you were eating , no allergy advice either. The currys had little or no meat in them one rice was dried out one rice was stodgy like glue. We waited at the counter for 15 minutes and no food was brought out. We ordered some sides of chips at £2.25 each which came out in a ramekin sized bowl!!! We spoke with manager who refunded the curries ... such a shame we won't be going back again...

We have just returned from a couple of days stay at the Premier Inn Hastings and was extremely disappointed with the experience at this restaurant. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and I thought I would go down to the Bar and watch the football on BBC1. There was a huge queue at the Bar waiting to order food with just two members of staff serving. Eventually I was served and I asked for a Costa coffee and was given a mug to serve myself at the machine as they offer free refills. I also asked if they could put the TV on in the Bar but was advised the reception was very poor and anyway BBC was not available. I thought this strange but had to accept it and went to the coffee machine for a cappuccino. The machine then gave me half a mug full so I pressed the machine again to get a full mug. I then looked for the chocolate sprinkler but could not see one so I asked a waitress who was passing and she advised me that it had been stolen and not replaced but I could have a chocolate sachet and sprinkle this on top. I went and sat in the Bar area with my coffee only to find it was stone cold. I then went back to the Bar area and was told to quote ' you could add hot water to it' Another lady overheard this and advised me that they were very busy so try it again in 10 minutes. I did go back somewhat disillusioned and try again and eventually found that you could get a full mug of luke warm Latte so settled for that. I then visited the Gents toilet to find there was no toilet paper but a large quantity of loose paper towels had been placed on top of the toilet systern for customer use presumably as they had run out of toilet paper. I then went back to our room in the hotel and we decided, due to the snow, to have a snack in the restaurant on Sunday evening which was reasonable. On Monday evening, as the weather was still grim, we decided to eat again in the restaurant and booked a table for 7.30pm. We sat down at the table early after ordering at the bar, but waited nearly 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The waitress did notice we had not been served and apologised and she chased the meal up which arrived about 10 minutes later. The quality of the food was again reasonable but the lady on the next table was in deep discussion with the waitress about her meal which apparently had been served cold and she wanted a refund. On a more positive note a couple of the waitresses were very pleasant and helpful but we left feeling that the restaurant was very poorly managed and lacked atmosphere and attention to detail and to be honest we would have ate elsewhere on the Monday evening if the weather had been better. Would we go again? - possibly as we have stayed here previously and the food and service had been excellent - but obviously we had a very poor experience and unless the points mentioned above are addressed we will not be back on our next visit to Hastings and would prefer to eat locally or at Sainsbury or Mcdonalds which are both within walking distance from the hotel
