We had the best meals at The Beacon in March 2018. My wife and I had Steak Pie and greens and mashed potatoes and gravy for an evening meal. Very good.
We had Chicken, carrots, greens and roasted potatoes with chocolate pudding cake for dessert for our second visit with my sister and her children..
Awesome flavors. Great homemade meals.

We were introduced to this place by our friend who had moved to Hastings. The place is great with a happy vibe, good service and fab food. Will definitely go again!

Doing a vegetarian Sunday Roast with Yorkshire pudding already gets my vote.... this was actually a really good one as well . The vegetarian addition to the roast potatoes etc was a pie that had so many tasty ingredients I couldn't really start to explain what was in it. Gravy too.
It was a rainy day and the log burner and warm inviting bar/restaurant and staff made it a great experience. Very laid back and friendly. Our baby girl usually gets bored with being in a high chair, but here she was able to have a bit of freedom investigating the other tables as the other guests were very relaxed and friendly people. We had such a nice time that we will be going back again.

My partner and i regularly walk along the westhill and past the sign the beacon leave out advertising their sunday roast. So finally as we were both off we called up and booked a table for lunch.

We checked the menu online (differnet every week due to seasonal veg and fresh meat available) and read the background about the family taking a regular trips out to local farms to source their meat and veg (this got me very excited!!)

When we turned up at the venu we were a bit lost as it is essentially a house with a small restaurant on the side. Best advice i can give is head down the left hand side and walk through the door that has a sign for deliveries on it.

The staff were welcoming and the food was so so so good! We had roast lamb (which was cooked to perfection) onion sauce with gorgeous roasties, glazed carrots and fresh seasonal greens.

It was very reasonably priced considering the freshness of the ingredients and so flavourful we didnt need any salt or pepper!

Definitely going to go back and also try and get therr for their thursday evening menu too!!

Id recommend this place to everyone.
