Really friendly hotel with great attic room and super views across the river and fields. Rye is a brilliant place to visit, lovely pubs and we visited Webbes restaurant which was really good. Nice breakfast

Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. The room was so well equipped and really comfortable. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast fab! Although the Hope Anchor were also catering for a large celebratory party, we never felt neglected. The team could not do enough for us. We have friends booked in to stay when we have our wedding in June and we are so pleased we can tell them what great accommodation awaits them. We would have given 5 stars except for the fact that our room night have been over the laundry/boiler room and we were woken up at 7.30ish to the sound of machines(?) or a noisy boiler grumbling away.

The Hope Anchor is a lovely welcoming place to stay. The staff are so kind and helpful and it’s so cosy, even in the March snow! The bed was super comfy, the food was great & the views are absolutely stunning. I’m wondering if we stay in a different room each time maybe we can create a panoramic shot of Rye! We’ll definitely be back.

Nice room up in the attic, little odd that the restaurant which is open each night was shut. But the local chippy with dine-in facilities saved the day. The hot lovely biscuits we're a nice treat and not to forget the little touches found in the basket in bathroom.

Thank you for your feedback which we always appreciate the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday during the winter and this is advertised on our website, there are over 88 places to eat in Rye and we are always happy to recommend places so we are glad you enjoyed the chippy!

stayed for 4 nights Monday to Friday, our standard room needed a little decoration but was very clean and comfortable. all staff were really nice and friendly. Owners were good people as well. Breakfast was very good. free wifi in rooms(signal strength variable apparently although ours was fine.

They provide residents parking permits but in high season i think parking will be a problem. It is a bit difficult to find if you don't know Rye one way system. check out the hotels website for directions before you travel
