It's a beautiful restaurant, food and staff are fantastic.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very peaceful and cozy.
The biggest problem is choosing the food. The description of each dish just seems amazing and when you taste it, well .... it is.
Thank you to Landgate bistro for this lovely experience !
Hope to come back soon
We tried to book for the evening, but it was already booked, so we went for lunch instead. It is slightly more expensive than typical, but it is a foodie experience. The food was excellent and we will certainly go back if we visit Rye again. The onion and cider soup was superb, as was the guinea fowl and duck. All excellently presented.
The village in itself is very welcoming but it pales in comparison to the helpfulness and kindness of the staff.
The food was outstanding. The focaccia was amazing showing off the freshness of the food and the taken t of the kitchen. The onion and cider soup was a wonder and the staff was kind enough to give us a preview of what the recipe was. Then the scallops with pork belly was a culinary miracle.
For the mains, the marsh lamb was a delight as if melted in the mouth accompanied with a soft carrot purée. Then there was the duck, it was a marvel in itself accompanied with the potatoes and a glorious pesto.
Suggested by our hotel so we were able to book in advance.
Lovely restaurant on the edge of the old town. Minutes walk from the center.
Well looked after by friendly staff.
The food was delicious. My meal of various types of lamb was excellent.
Would go again
