We stayed at Birch House as a group of friends to celebrate a 40th birthday & it was perfect. The spacious layout of the house meant everyone had their own space, even those sharing rooms! 3 bathrooms & 4 toilets was ideal & the bathrooms have been finished off beautifully. The kitchen / dining area was gorgeous & we spent most our time there & shared a great Sunday meal together at the dinner table - perfect for an occasion like this with a big group. The table tennis table was great fun!

Ahead of our trip I'd contacted Samantha for some advice on restaurants & was recommended many, a couple of which we tried & they were lovely. The location was perfect as the area itself was quiet, however a 5 min walk away was the town so we went to the pubs during the evening & enjoyed the shops & tea rooms during the day.

When we arrived at the house I was thrilled to see how well equipped the kitchen was - it literally had everything we needed & there was even a lovely "welcome" basket for us & fresh milk in the fridge!

I would absolutely return to this property & would highly recommend it for those wanting luxurious self-catering accommodation with plenty of space & a great location.
