Lovely visit! Dog friendly and very welcoming owners! We had a lovely scone and tea served warm and ‘proper’ loose leaf tea ! Our dog also got a treat from the owners! Very pleasant surroundings and decor. Would definitely recommend and will visit again!

Ham baguette with crisps and salad. If you are hungry enjoy fresh cut ham off the bone but it is a large portion. Warm welcoming and good service. Enjoy reading the paper with a glass of larger or other alcoholic drinks. The locals seem to frequent the place .... they must know...

We chose this cafe because they accept dogs (sign displayed in the window). We were given a big table at the rear and my dog happily settled down. We had a pot of tea, a mocha made with soya and a cheese scone. Cost £9.40. The drinks were nice but the scone was disappointing (small, crumbly, difficult to spread butter). Service was pleasant enough. Toilet located outside through a small and quirky garden area, at odds with the rest of the decor.

After some pretty disappointing visits previously we visited no.6 again this week and were suitably impressed. The place has been spruced-up from the previous rustic feel with better lighting, painted walls and table-cloths. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming.

We like to patronise no.6 in preference to others as it accepts dogs inside. Lovely after a long morning's walk. Point of note though, I believe that they don't open until 11.00am. On a number of attempts we have found it closed and so have gone next door instead.

A good choice of teas and coffees. The former presented as loose leaf in a see-through pot and a decent two and a half cups quantity. The latter, coffee, rather small and cup not filled to the brim. Three gulps and it was gone and so enjoyed a share of the wife's tea as well.

Reasonably priced, accepts dogs and pleasant. Would return again.

Ok for a selection of cakes but the coffee was average and very limited seating. There was a furniture painting area at the back of the Cafe which seemed odd.
