“Cute cottage in Cotswolds”
Reviewed 22 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We have just spent a lovely 3 days staying at Coomb Cottage. It is exactly as described, in a lovely quiet village making it the perfect getaway. The cute cottage has lovely home touches including the welcome basket of bread, eggs, cake and some Sloe Vodka. An enjoyable stay and definitely a place to return to.

“Wonderful place, just what we were looking for!”

It’s difficult to expand upon what has already been said in other reviews. We needed a short break away and came across the cottage via Trip Advisor. The pictures and details reflect the cottage perfectly and it had everything we were looking for. Given the time of year the wood burner in the pictures was very appealing and served us very well during our stay. The cottage had all the amenities you could ask for during a short stay including complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, eggs, butter, jam and bread, which was a lovely touch. The bed and bed linen were luxurious and the whole cottage was designed with a very personal touch.

The short trip to the local 16th century pub was a highlight on more than one occasion and the location of the cottage is great for exploring the surrounding area of the Cotswolds. All in all, a wonderful stay and somewhere we would happily return to (especially for the Sloe Vodka!)

“Cutest cottage in a secluded part of the Cotswolds”
Reviewed 8 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed during winter end of Feb and absolutely loved it. The bedding was so comfy we have now ordered the same for our own place! Perfect size for a weekend away for two. Great hosts and lovely local pub down the road - super friendly.

“Peaceful and homely - perfect for unwinding,”
Reviewed 18 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed Friday to Monday at Coomb Cottage and really didn't want to leave. The lodge is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need or want. The local pub is very friendly and food excellent, though we spent most of our time in the lodge as it was so comfortable. The wood burner is lovely and there is a seemingly endless supply of wood. The surroundings are stunning and sitting on the verandah listening to the birds - and no traffic! - was bliss.
The owners, Claire and Jason, who were very friendly and helpful, have thought of everything. All in all, a perfect break and we will definitely return.

“Beautiful location, lovely cabin and perfect for dogs”

The couple who own the cabin welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the cabin. Clare was very accommodating towards our dogs and provided them with towels etc. The fridge was also stocked with the essentials such as milk, eggs and bread.
There were plenty of walks to do in the area of varying lengths and there were details about different walks in the cabin. The walks were well suited to our dogs and in the evening there was a dog-friendly pub, less than a 10 minute walk away which provided water for the dogs.
The cabin was only a short distance from towns such as Winchcombe and Cheltenham which were lovely to visit. During the day if you didn't want to take the dogs with you, Clare provided an enclosed area where the dogs could stay for a couple of hours.
We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere within the cabin, created by the quaint log-burning stove, stunning wood-panelling and candles. We would really recommend a visit, with or without dogs.
