“Excellent. Great apartment, great location, thus ensuring a great family holiday.”
Reviewed 7 June 2011 for a stay in May 2011

Bright, roomy and comfortable apartment with all you need in a lovely historic building. Park the car up as you can walk everywhere. So much to do. Historic dockyard fantastic for all ages. Make sure you see the 'Trafalgar Experience' in the museum adjacent to the Victory, and the Victory and Warrior themselves of course. Gunwharf quays has plenty of bars, eateries and shops. Also ten pin bowling, movies and things for the kids. Mind blowing views from the top of the Spinaker. A walk along the sea defences via Spice Island takes you to Clarence pier where there is a great little family fairground. Beyond that there is Southsea Castle (free), the D Day museum, An aquarium, the Natural History museum, and beyond that, the Royal Marines museum. Get a boat from the Quays to the Submarine Museum. We even took a ferry to the Isle of Wight which included free train travel whilst there. Everything enjoyed by all of us from age 5 to ancient. We all tend to jet off abroad but sometimes we forget what this country has to offer. Loved it. We'll be back...
