Owner description: Featuring the Mary Rose Museum and world famous ships HMS Victory and HMS Warrior 1860. Plus visit HMS Alliance, the only remaining WW2 era British ocean going submarine, and the M33, the sole remaining British veteran of the bloody Dardanelles Campaign of 1915-1916. Also including the National Museum Royal Navy Portsmouth, Action Stations and the Harbour Tours, as well as the new Women in the Navy Exhibition and the Jutland Exhibition, there's plenty to see and do. I have been to the dockyard several times however I Was given a two person dockyard all experience ticket as a gift in March 2017. We have visited on 3 occasions so far (on this ticket) and still have much more to see. We have had an amazing time each day. The all attraction tickets offer great value for money. The harbour tour has been particularly good especially to see the Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier. Would highly recommend all of it.

So many things to see, so much to absorb, so much to take in but with restaurants and cafes there you can take your time.

If you are into history, boats or the military this is a great day out, The Mary Rose is something I would encourage anyone to go and see, it is simply fascinating and one of Englands historocal treasures! Plently of activities for children and the recent Pirates of the Caribbean films make The Victory really exciting and so a great opportuntity for parents to drop in some real hard historical facts while the kids feel they are playing swashbuckling pirate adventures, just watch your head as you are going in, take it from me! Theres a great boat ride to take, sunny days are always a better option for this activity but if you are hardcore Portsmoith Docks lovers like us then any time of year will do and they run frequently so you can fit it in to wherever you like in your schedual. To fully see and do everything there its either an entire day or to do at a more leisurely pace i would recommend a night in one of the hotels around of which you can find really cheaply or splash out and and make it a luxurious stop over. The tickets you buy at the Docks are valid for a year, and this is definately a place you will find yourself coming back to. I have had these yearly tickets before at places like The Eden Project etc but never ended up taking advantage of the opportunity (mainly because of distance tbh there) but this has so very much to see and do for all ages its comletely worth the money, particually as its not too much more than you would expect for a single day out. Concessions availble also. Id say we average around 6 to 10 times a year so I always feel we get amazing value for money, during the summer holidays we always get a car full of my sons school friends for a day out, I cant rate it higher. We live a 2 hour drive away, but as previously mentioned if you live a long way away, make a weekend of it and stay over.
