Good view, worth doing. Better on a clear day. I objected to the over keen sales people ( photos, name origin certificates) who would not take no for an answer and the cafe which was dirty with trays of food everywhere, most tables were reserved and staff pretty much ignored us when we entered, despite me getting quite close) In the end we left to get tea elsewhere. Shame. Still, I’d recommend the view, and the staff in the lift and at the ticket desk.

Good views. Lots of different things to see. One of my favourite parts was the little pictures at the bottom of the glass that would tell you what was what and how far away things where. Definitely go, it’s a good experience :)

Great day out at the spinnaker tower. Weather was overcast though could see everything. Fantastic views and a lot of history on display. Well managed and would recommend prebooking for the discount.

Let be honest here. The location and the height of the building are great and luckily there is lots to see from this vantage point however you could get the same fantastic view from a similar tower block. Its just the tower block isn't open to the public at £34 a go per family.

This is not like Blackpool tower where theres lots to see on the way up, its not like the Eiffel tower wheres its very impressive architecture and quite a lot going on inside ( by the way they also do a version of the glass floor trick, so does Blackpool. )

Viewing level is just a large room that looks over the views ( impressive but see tower block comment ) with a glass floor for you to walk over in the middle ( if you are brave enough ). Theres nothing exciting, at all in the lift waiting area though the staff are pleasant ( don't worry the gift shop will try and get your cash on the way out!! )

Theres a garden on the top level with a couple of deck chairs. Again good view but you'll be out of the whole place in 15-20 mins max.

Worth £34 on the day......NO.

At £11/adult we upgraded to also visit HMS Victory for £24/adult, and you get to go up the tower as many times as you want. We went up mid-morning when it became really busy with a group of visiting French students who appeared to be setting up some sort of temporary settlement on the viewing deck, making it quite difficult to tread around them, but when we returned later in the afternoon it was really quiet. The views were stunning and, due to changing weather conditions, seemed quite different between the two visits. Our two young sons were very excited, with the highlight for our oldest being the movement of trains in and out of the harbour station and the ferries coming and going. They were also brave enough to walk/lie/jump on the clear walkway, peering 100m down to the ground. I wish I could remember the name of the French visitor guide in the afternoon - so friendly and helpful, taking time to chat to people and personalise the visit. We were impressed.
