What a fabulous restaurant, scallops and goats cheese were delicious starters. Food piping hot, tender steak cooked to perfection. Fish pie exceptional. Didn’t really have room for dessert but couldn’t resist the poached pear with white chocolate panna cotta, Italian meringue and clotted cream ice cream so pleased we shared it. Such attentive staff, all were happy and clearly enjoyed working together. Thank you for making it a memorable evening.

waitied along time to be served, and when the food came chips were hardly cooked and cool and burger was average.
Over priced and room was cold.

Came here to celebrate a birthday after checking what else was on offer in the area and I was very pleased with this decision.

The service, food and the ambiance were all fantastic and made it a night to remember.

Between us we had the Salmon and the Brushchetta to start. Followed by the Lamb and the Chicken and then for dessert the Cheese Board and keeping it simple the Affogato.

We then finished the meal off with a couple of cocktails.

Would have no hesitation in recommending The Oxford Brasserie and looking forward to returning soon.

This restaurant was a great recommendation whilst we were spending a weekend away in Southampton. We didn’t have a reservation but the staff made us very welcome and fitted us in to their very busy afternoon. Great roast beef dinner and the helpings were generous - we didn’t have room for a dessert! The service, atmosphere and most importantly the food was outstanding. Good value for money.

Style over substance and inept service abound in what could have been a great venue. Whilst the food looked good this was at the expense of flavour and ultimately satisfaction. Inept service resulted in runny egg for a pregnant member of the party and half the drinks order finding its way to the bill but not the table (an experience shared with the table next to us). A veal steak with a runny sauce was served on a wooden board, overflowing salad onto tue table and accompanying vegetables in a mini bowl resulting in the table cloth enjoying more of the (admittedly tasty) sauce than I and the dexterity of a brain surgeon required. My parfait starter was more reminiscent of Sainsbury's own brand than dining out. The result - desert forgone to avoid further disappointment and for only the second time in a decade the tip kept in my pocket.
