the food is excellent, always hot and fresh, we come to this café also because the atmosphere is friendly, we eat here every Saturday and thoroughly enjoy it. We also come here for Sunday lunch, which once again is hot and fresh. Keep up the good service Stuart.

We often revisit this cafe for lunch. Excellent value lunches during the week at £4.50 and breakfasts from £3.50. Many regular customers proving how popular this cafe is.

Whilst visiting my daughter at Southampton Uni we discovered Miss Ellie's Cafe. We went for breakfast and both had a wonderful Full English style brekkie, I had the smaller option but my daughter ( being a poor hungry student ) went large. Cooked to order and all washed down with a lovely big mug of Tea. Friendly service and obviously a hit with the locals. Its not huge inside so very cosy. There is a dinner menu and great selection of sandwiches. Can't wait to return we were both stunned as change from a £10 !!!!!

Been wanting to try this cafe for ages and now I have I will be a regular. Lovely, actually perfect. Parking is just round the corner if you can't park on the road outside, a stone throw away from cafe. Lovely cafe and lovely people

Reading the rankings for breakfast restaurants in Southampton has highlighted how inaccurate Tripadvisor can be. I've eaten breakfast in some of the places higher up the "food chain" on here (get it?) and they are not a patch on quality for food and value. OK, you won't be able to look out on herds of wildebeest sweeping across the tundra, but neither can you in the other places, And if you're looking for a full traditional breakfast chances are you won't want to.

Trust me, for quality, friendliness, cleanliness and value, you won't get a better breakfast
