Beautiful garden in Canterbury. It’s a lovely place for a walk or a picnic. A very good spot to take beautiful pictures!

It’s filled with thousands flowers and specially gorgeous in spring!

Had a picnic here. Lovely setting, by the river and in the middle of the city so everything within easy walking distance.

We often make the walk/bike ride with our sons from B&M to west gate gardens and back. While bikes aren’t allowed to be ridden in the park itself, it is absolutely beautiful to walk through and enjoy the plants, the birds and the river with views of the tower. Perfect spot for a picnic in the warmer months but we’ll kept and worth a visit year round! Lovely!

Well kept with lovely views of the Westgate towers. There are the Westgate punts who operate from this point and a Mexican restaurant across the Stour.

i'd always walked past the gardens but never really took the time to wander round until this summer. it's a lovely area and i loved sitting by the riverside, so relaxing! will definitely make time to stroll around on my future trips to canterbury.
