Ben Place is a lovely cottage. It is well equipped, everything you need to self cater in the kitchen. Having the sitting room upstairs gives you a lovely view. The position, about a 10 minute walk across the field to the village is perfect. There is however one downside, the shower. The water pressure is almost non-existent. Running a bath was a lengthy process (half an hour for a worthwhile amount) and having a shower was pointless. Washing my shoulder length hair was a painful process and just took too long.
This is a lovely cottage but we would be reluctant to return because the simple act of being able to have a shower was frustrating and time consuming.
