Stayed in the area and visited twice for lunch
They have a soup with an option of bread sandwich or cheese scone
We ate two different soups with a cheese scone on both our visits
Delicious both times and very reasonable
Also great surroundings and the other food looked lovely

Simple but pleasant eatery. I had excellent quiche and a good fresh salad. Plenty of parking available.

After spending time in Sizergh gardens the hailstone started and as it was lunchtime we stopped in the cafe for lunch. It was really busy and no wonder. There was a good selection of hot food, sandwiches and cakes. Prices were reasonable, under £8 for a main course and portions were large. The Cumberland sausage with onion gravy and chips was very good. We also had a cream tea, each with a single portion of jam and clotted cream. It appeared that groups of people come just for the food rather than the gardens! Staff were courteous and quick in cleaning and turning tables. Would recommend.

Love coming to Sizergh and love coming to the cafe for a coffee and a snack as it's a great location with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Today however we came for lunch and I was a tad surprised to find that the children's lunch boxes came with just a choice of jam or cheese sandwiches. As my little boy doesn't like cheese I was left with only the option of a jam sandwich. Would have hoped for a slightly healthier lunch choice... Will definitely make me think twice about having lunch with him here again in future which is a shame as my lunch was lovely.

A great cafe especially on a cold winter's day. We ordered coffee and scones. Both were delicious and of a good quality. The NT need to add more signage to attract more customers. From the car park there are lovely walks with views across the Lyth Valley.
