The Old Chapel is a quirky accommodation that you just can't help but love. Peaceful surroundings and right up in the hills. About a 25 minute drive gets you into Keswick with plenty to do for the kids. The owners were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Clean and very well appointed for families with wheelchairs.

Myself and five family members had a lovely weekend stay at The Old Chapel. My mums in a wheelchair so it was very important to find somewhere to meet all our needs. The accommodation was perfect- spacious airy and tastefully adapted yet cosy at the same time. It was perfect for my mum, the wet room especially, with low level shower dials and mirrors. My mum said it was one of the best places she had stayed. The kitchen was well equipped- every we needed was available, together with logs for the fire, board games and wi fi. The owner was lovely and popped by just before we departed to make sure everything was okay. Would definitely recommend the accommodation suitable for all ages and abilities.
We stayed at the Old Chapel for a week. The owners Rebecca and Fraser could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The Old Chapel is beautiful accommodation with everything we needed for a disabled family member with no mobility. For the rest of the family we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and quiet village location. Perfect spot for visiting the surrounding lakes and nearby beaches. Recommend this lovely converted Chapel to anyone looking for a comfortable and attractive base for a holiday in the Lake District.

We stayed for 2 nights in The Old Chapel in Ireby and we were all very happy with the property and had a great time. The house is lovely and the owners were very helpful. One of our party accidentally left something at the house, the owners were very helpful and posted the item to us.
