It was a lovely walk to do since I haven’t been since I was a child. Lovely views and well worth persevering with the weather. The falls were amazing and the walk itself was pleasant and enjoyable

Lovely walk and easy way too spend a few hours enjoying this magnificent natural beauty. Happily paid car park charges (not a national trust member )when we read how much it costs to look after these areas.

Best way to go is to hike from either Glenridding or Glencoyne Bay. Be aware though that the Glencoyne Bay car park only takes cash & the national trust will issue ‘car park notices’ there.

The falls themselves are great, but you can’t really see the force unless you climb the steps. So Aira Force isn’t as accessible as other reviewers and the national trust make it out to be.

I was sadly disappointed when I saw a fox hunt on National Trust land, this isnt what I would have expected from a trust that is paid by the people to look after out wild life and therefore I will not be paying to use any of their facilities or staying in any area that maybe profiting from the people to hunt our British wild life.. Never again would I trust this organization
