Me, Mrs A and Junior spent two fabulous nights at the Imperial Hotel, our first ever trip to Blackpool. The hotel was comfortable, clean and spacious and the staff were terrific. When you add to it that we were there for the George Formby Society convention then jobs a proper good’un! Brinky diddly dinky doo.....

Hello Maff, I'm so pleased you had such a fun time last weekend, the GFS weekenders are just wonderful, so it may have been your first, but I'm sure it wont be your last! Thanks for taking the time to review your stay, best wishes, Alison

My young son (4) and I stayed at this hotel for one night in March. We both absolutely loved it. When we walked into the hotel my son said wow and that sums up the reception it’s very grand and and very welcoming. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a sea view and the room was amazing. It was lovely and spacious. The decor was modern but still very in keeping with the traditional style of the hotel. We ate in the bar for our meal at night and the portion sizes were excellent and the sticky toffee pudding was one of the best that I have ever had! Unfortunately my little boy was poorly in the morning so we couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast even though we had paid for it, so can not comment on this aspect of the hotel. The staff were all really friendly and polite, even my son commented on how nice the gentleman was that checked us in. We had such a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. If I’m ever in Blackpool again I would not even look at any other hotels, this is definitely the one for us!!

Oh Kt, I'm so pleased you both had such a fab time! The Imperial is definitely a wow factor for little ones, there's not so many older hotels around these days and my nephew did the same as your son at that age - he's 13 now and still says it!!! I hope you both had a ball in Blackpool and that your son recovered quickly ready to hit the attractions. Look forward to meeting you next time! Best wishes, Alison

This is are 6th visit with wowcher deal. As usual the leisure facilities were lovely and the Jacuzzi wasn't too hot.
This time they had a whole new menu for the afternoon tea had changed. we were seated by a very talkative young girl, she was very "in your face" and irritating. we were seated and the stand with the food was brought out with in 5 mins. we then waited a further 15 mins with no drinks, we asked the waiter George who said he would bring them, after a 20min wait the tea and coffee arrived, unfortunately the coffee was like treacle. we went to find someone and after another wait a fresh pot was brought.
The food on the other hand was beautiful, we had soup, goats cheese tartlet and sausage roll all homemade. then sandwiches with lovely fillings, cheese scone (not keen) and a sultana scone each.then a cake selection of bonoffi tartlet, red velvet cake, brownie, eaten mess they were lovely.
The wowcher deal was only £21 for 2 so great deal. all in all fab but the drinks reall let it down and the staff.

Thanks Debra for the review, I do appreciate it, however I was surprised and disappointed to learn that getting hot drinks was such a chore. I'll ask George about this and hopefully I'll get to the bottom of it. I'm so pleased you loved the new afternoon tea selection! I hope you managed everything and if not, took it home for later! I do hope we'll see you again soon, its great to know its a regular treat for you, with best wishes, Alison

Me and my girlfriend stayed here early October and despite the weather which was pretty bad, it was great fun and nice to come back to a warm room.
The room was big and spacious, king size bed, very clean and comfortable. We also had a sea view so we could see the illuminations from our window.
I’d ordered a bottle of wine for when we arrived and it was there chilling in the ice bucket when we arrived.
The hotel itself is marvellous. You could spend a day there just looking around.
It boasts a spa, pool, and restaurants.
The tram and bus stops are right outside the door so you can leave the car in the car park during your stay.
To keep the car in the car park after checking out is £5 for the day which I think is pretty fair.
Breakfast was a buffet, and wow what a choice. All hot and tasty.
Overall, we had a great time here and wished we’d booked another night.
We do plan on returning this year.

Thanks Nick for your comprehensive review, I do appreciate it and I'm delighted you both had a great time. October is a fantastic time to visit Blackpool - great vibe, loads of things to do and the world famous illuminations just outside our front door - just fab! Thanks again and we hope to see you this year too! Best wishes, Alison

A most enjoyable stay at Imperial Hotel Blackpool. We were on a 5day break with Leons Coaches Stafford, The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were very good, very clean, comfortable beds. the food was very high standard, beautifully presented and tasty. Again the restraunt staff were very helpfull. The hotel was fullof interesting history, it had a charm of its own. The staff are very proud to work there and are ready to help.

Thanks Derrick for your lovely review, I'm so pleased you had such a good time and that you enjoyed the Heritage Tour along with the rest of the break. It was lovely to meet you all and I look forward to seeing you again. We're just launching a "Blackpool Heyday" Tour which centres around the 1950s - I hope you'll join us for that one! See you again, best wishes, Alison
