Stayed in room number 2 .Room was a very small double .First thing I noticed when opened door was that the room smelled like cat pee and damp . Room badly needed decorated very dirty wallpaper and paint and carpet not to clean either Toilet door was a folding one which didn't close fully so no privacy if you needed the loo. Although you wouldn't want to spend much time in there anyway as it was smelling of pee . Furniture very dated . On the plus side . Always plenty hot water and was cosy enough at night . It's a shame that it's so run down as the owner was really nice and pleasant and helpful . Breakfast was really good and nice and hot .Bed was clean and fresh and comfy . We enjoyed our break at Blackpool but sadly we won't be back to this Hotel next time

Room Tip: All rooms seemed quite enough

We took our 3 children to this hotel for a night, owners were nice and wasn't hastled at all when we came back to the room. It does however need some updating with beds as bunk beds had a ladder that wasn't safe for use but the owner did mention when we arrived. Wallpaper needs to be done as was ripped on places and stained and overall needs to be cleaned a bit better but we didn't pay too much so I suppose you get what you pay for. Also to note that the family room was on the very top floor so a few too many stairs for me as I have to use walking aid.

We initially booked 2 rooms for one night thru Late rooms. it was for a break with our Grandkids. When we called to add an additional night we were told it would be the same price again!!.. when I questioned the fact that Edreams were offering 2 nights at his hotel for £60 cheaper than that, his excuse was that the Edreams deal was basic "No towels and not sea views".... his offering was for adjoining rooms, one family and one double with sea views and towels!!.... We liked the idea of the sea view and the adjoining room was great for the kids to wander between the two. We took his offer and looked forward to enjoying what seemed like an ok hotel...... oh how wrong we were.....
We arrived to find the whole place looking tatty and in need of a good refurb!!... The two rooms weren’t together…. The family room was two rooms connected by a door and the double room was not next to it!!... We were offered a one down a floor or across the hall facing the back… not sea view!! So we opted for the one on the same floor so the kids could wander between the two and not have to go up and down flights of stairs!!..
The icing on the cake came a few hours later….. The double room had a double bed and single bed in it. My grandson decided he would have the double bed and I could have the single!! And leave the family room for the girls!!... Imagine his disappointment and my disbelief when I asked for a quilt for the single bed to be told….. NO…. you only paid for a double!!...
In summary… Blackpool prides itself on Its hundreds of small family ran hotels and Guest Houses and our experience here does nothing to instil confidence in booking again or just going for the safe option and booking with one of the big chains.
The only reason we gave a rating of Poor and not Terrible was the breakfasts!!.. they were quite nice.

When we booked the pictures of the hotel looked lovely & fresh!
What a shock we got when we arrived it was nothing like the pictures very dirty & dated rooms with wallpaper hanging off the walls. Bathroom was very unclean.
We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food here!
Definitely wouldn't return!
