Great if you are attending an event at Walker Stadium. Good clean basic accomodation. Would highly recommend for Walker Stadium events.

Room Tip: all rooms are the same, there is no "view" so it doesn't really matter!

I stayed at the hotel for a week but would avoid it if I can in the future.

The rooms are ok but they need updating. The TVs are old and only get 5 channels, the some of the showers are very poor.

The breakfast is very basic - tinned grapefruit, toast, scrambled eggs and sausages in a hot cabinet that look very old, tea and coffee and mini muffins.

The service can be very slow at the bar. There is normally only one person on reception in the evening and they have to check people in, answer the phone and serve at the bar.

The hotel is right next to the Walkers Football Stadium and is not near the town so you are limited to where you can eat. The hotel are ok with you ordering take aways and will even provide plates and cutlery for you.

Well done HI Express Walkers Staium, Leicester; you have resolved the water problems I experieneced on previous vists and I would gladly stay at your hotel once again.

Reservedly I booked to stay at HI Express Walkers Staium Leicester after experiencing horrid water problems as well as problems with my bill last time round but to my delight all had been resolved.

This is now once again a very good value for money hotel excellantly located for business and leisure travelers to leicester

I would however recommend you ask for a room away from the elavators as close to them you can still hear a slight whine but this would only be a problem to very light sleepers.

The breakfast was very good and well laid out although you are not offered pancakes as you are in all HI Express's in the States.

There also appears to have been a complete staff change, as they are now a very helpful and friendly bunch who go about their tasks very professionally.

Well done HI Express Walkers Staium Leicester!

Room Tip: I would however recommend you ask for a room away from the elavators as close to them you can still...

I have stayed many times at this Holiday Inn Express. It is clean, functional and within walking distance to some good eating places in Leicester. I did not use the adjacent restaurant this time as the menu looked fairly standard fair and there is a lot more choice locally. Plenty of parking, easy access and the standard room decor and facility.
Booked it a few days in advance so expected to pay higher than if done in advance. Still operate smoking rooms which allows a choice.
No WiFi in rooms which is a bit of a let down but free wifi in public areas and it is a good moderate speed.
Nice and quiet so I would recommend it if you just need a good clean place to sleep.

Room Tip: If you want a smoking room then ask. If you want a non smoking room then ask. Book late and choice i...
