Stayed on Thursday and Friday night for a social visit to liverpool. Check-in was straight forward. There was a problem with the cards/lock on the room which the lady from reception swiftly resolved.
The rooms are a good size, we had a great view out over the mersey. The bed was very comfortable. Due to covid, the room was not cleaned at all during the stay, if towels etc need to be changed, they are to be left outside the door.
Thursday night was lovely and quite, however Friday night was very different with lots of noise from outside the hotel and other guests returning to their rooms up until around 4:30am, so I would recommend ear plugs if you are on a weekend stay and want some peace.
It is a great base for exploring the Albert Docks, The Cathedrals, Liverpool One. It is around a 1 hour walk from the football grounds and 25 minutes or so from Lime street. There is a car park locally which I believe is around £20 for 24 hours.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, we are glad to hear that you found the room to be spacious and have great views and the hotel to be in a good location, making easy to access all of Liverpool.

We are sorry that you had noisy guests throughout Friday night. Due to our city centre location we are a popular hotel for people enjoying a night out. We do try our best to control the situation and once reported we will attempt to speak with the customers causing the complaint in the hope that they will listen and be quieter.

Check in process was very lengthy as system had been down all day, so there were long queues as everyone had to be shown to their rooms - but staff were good and we were able to secure a late checkout with no fuss. The room was comfortable - standard basic facilities - only issue was the fan in the bathroom not working. I see many complaints about the breakfast - we didn't order it as I'd read on the website what it comprised of and it was obviously not worth it...there are so many cafes nearby there's absolutely no need to take breakfast in the hotel and I'd advise others not to!

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a restaurant breakfast service due to the impact of the pandemic on staffing, faced with supply chain issues which continues to present challenges for the hospitality industry.

We understand this is disappointing for some of our guests but this is a temporary measure and we will be operating a full breakfast service by the middle of September, we hope that we can welcome you back to Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels in the near future

Loved the location. Loved the room. Check in was slow as simply not enough staff. Breakfast was dreadful, a bag dropped outside the bedroom. Will be back but not till brekkie is sorted, not sure why it hasn’t resumed as other hotels still serve breakfast and we are in August 2021 now!

Room tip: No parking available but we parked at the Hampton by Hilton over the road… booked early at £6.50 for 24 hours.

I visited expecting due to covid regulations that our room would be spotless. It was dusty everywhere, although the pieces of card wrapped around everything said sanitised. I took a bath and under the soap containers were lots of old dirt and scum. The sink was dusty. The phone was dusty and dirty. The remote control was dirty, didn't look like it had ever been sanitised. Every surface was dusty. I tried to use the hairdryer and it didn't work. One of the glasses jn the bathroom had someboydbelses toothpaste stains all round and in it. I had breakfast delivered to my door at 7am (free breakfast provided) and by the time I wanted to eat it around 9 am my orange juice and yoghurt were cold. I could however book in at the restaurant and pay for a nice meal there, but from previous hotel reservations I assumed this is what was included in the package. I came downstairs to pick up one of the free hot baps and could get a veg sausage bap or egg bap. No coffee, but i could make a kenco instant coffee in my room and drink my warm orange juice.

There is no parking here, make sure to bring extra cash to park in the arenas multistorey.

Overall really not impressed by the level of hospitality. I felt like I was unwanted in the building, but they were very happy to take my booking.

The location is great which is the only decent point for the hotel, otherwise it was just like any other chain hotel that had started to become run down.

We stayed here recently as part of an anniversary trip to the city. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we could not have asked for more. The location is ideal for exploring the city. Our room, whilst clean and comfortable, was not serviced during our stay. We were told this in a letter handed to us at check-in. I was pleased we only stopped the 2 nights! In addition, I had booked the Executive package, which included breakfast. What we had, was a continental type delivered to our room. We then had to use the tea and coffee provided in the room to make a drink. We also had to go down to the restaurant to collect "a warm sandwich" which we then ate in our room. Breakfast was most certainly NOT value for money. Yes I appreciate that some restrictions were in place, but that did not stop restaurants and bars in the area from opening fully! In retrospect, I should have asked for some money back, as we both felt very short-changed. No explanation was given either. You make your choice if you want to stop here, but beware of the breakfast offerings!

Not what it used to be.
I was shocked at the 4pm check-in so had to leave all our bags in the car whilst going to watch the football. Also the so called breakfast in a bag was extremely poor to put it nicely.
With no breakfast being served it really did spoil the stay. I've stayed in other hotels since lockdown which they've all served full breakfast.
My 7 year old son didn't like anything in the breakfast bag that got left outside the door so we had to go and find our own away from the hotel for both mornings.

Expense to park around there with no reduced rate for customers (Pullman hotel near there gets a reduced parking price in the multi story of £12 instead of £18 for 24 hours).

Nice location but I'll be looking elsewhere for my stay from now on.
