We stayed at Tower Bridge Apartments on Roper Lane in July in a studio apartment. The location was prefect, the room extremely clean and tidy, (although a little smaller than we had thought it would be) and the customer service absolutely fantastic!! The weekend we visited London, the wether was unusually and exceptionally HOT and unfortunately, the room we stayed in did not have air conditioning, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. However, this was the only fault we had with the apartment. It would not have been an issue on a cooler weekend, and can honestly say that the customer service and friendly staff more than made up for the lack of air con. Would definitely stay there again.

Location is pretty good, not that close to the tube but a fairly easy flat walk to London Bridge Tube. Buses out the front and not hard to walk over Tower Bridge either. The apartment was clean EXCEPT for the mould in the shower. It is one of those plastic shower units and the mould is in the silicon seals, probably due to the fact that the shower doesn't drain properly so there was still water in the base the next morning after night shower.
The kitchen is an ok size for the studio I was in and the room was a good size.
The trouble was that it was hot (heatwave in London) and very bright as there are plenty of windows but only horrible vertical blinds on them that cut out minimal light, flap terribly when you have the window or balcony door open, and it was too hot to leave the doors closed. Also when the blinds are open you can see into other people's apartments easily,,and they can see into yours.
On the positive, nice little balcony, with no furniture but kitchen chairs work fine. The dishwasher, washing machine worked well and added convenience.

Location: it takes ~15 mins walk from London Bridge Station where you can go to the Borough Market, Tesco Metro, M&S Food with walking distance. 5-8 mins walk to Tower Bridge though. 5 mins walk to Maltby Street Market. A bus station stop is just outside the apartment building. The 1-bedroom apartment comes with a well-equipped open kitchen. Living room, bedroom and washroom are in average size. It is good for couple or family of 3. Although there is no reception or lounge, the staff were very helpful with clear instruction and direction. It's a bit noisy if windows are open. Things I would critique are 1) the blinds did not really cover the window and lights coming in easily when sunrise, 2) floors and doors are a bit old, some maintenance work seems necessary, 3) no air-conditioning. A bit hot inside the apartment although there were fans, 4) a bit expensive for the quality of room we got.

I booked this hotel in a rush, when my usual accommodation choice was full. After booking, I read the reviews and started to regret my choice. However, I was most pleasantly surprised when I turned up.
Yes, this is not your normal hotel. There is no formal reception/bar area, just a small office room, but the staff were friendly and helpful. I was shown to my apartment, and was impressed by the facilities.
The suite consisted of hallway with access to the toilet/shower room, then further access to the living area. This was a large room with double bed, three seater sofa, dining table and two chairs, small fitted kitchen with full size oven and hob, sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ample cupboard space, full cutlery and crockery along with pans and chopping boards etc. There were also ironing facilities and a good flatscreen TV on swivel wall mounting, so you could watch it from the sofa or in bed.
The room was heated with underfloor heating, making it very pleasant to wander around in bare feet.
The only thing that let it down was the quality of the mattress, which whilst adequate, could have been better.
The location is excellent and is just a short walk away from the South Bank and central London, with access to the Underground and Trains nearby.
There was no traffic noise as my room was around the side of the building. There are no dining facilities, but there are plentiful nearby eateries and a local shop just across the street if you fancy staying in.
I will definitely stay here again.

This is advertised as a 4 star 'luxury' accomodation . It is scruffy, shoddy and furniture is cheap and broken , nothing like the advertised picture on the website
Areas were unclean and half completed. Patio doors were broken, the 'city view' consisted of back walls and dustbins, the room was unbearably hot with an old fan was provided that had an out of date pat test.
Security were friendly and the manager was civil but all had the resigned acceptance of consistent complaints re the quality of the accomodation. Two staff told us that they get complaints all the time ( which is evidenced in the last few years reviews on this site) but the owner is not bothered about resolving these
There is much better accomodation to be found in the area ! dont bother with this one and please read these reviews before even thinking of booking . you will not get what you pay for
