Paid my first visit to this pub today for family lunch after watching Arsenal win 3-0.There were 7 of us and the roast was amazing. We enjoyed roast beef, lamb and chicken all of which was just so tasty I really think it is the best Sunday lunch I have had in London.Every one was so nice and the service was first class.this is an old pub so the tables are small but who cares with food like this. The price is a little above other places but with meat this good who cares. They say you get what you pay for and here you certainly do.Will definitely return without the car so I can enjoy their real ales.

Lovely local pub, very intimate and cosy place with not loads of room but enough for a brilliant time. Friendly staff made the night a real joy. Lovely food and they accept East London Pounds yippee.

Waited too long for our food and when it arrived it was not hot. Sent it back and it came back the same.

One of us did not even get potatoes with their roast. In general, the food took too long and was overpriced for the quality. It was a disappointing visit.

There are better pubs in the area.

Really good food. Lovely prepared and decorated as well.
The pub itself is a traditional and cosy place. I have been there many times and was never disappointed.

Had a late lunch yesterday. Burger bun was rock hard, sent it back and when it came back the burger was dry. Chips were oven chips. For £13!
The staff were great though.
