We stayed here in August we stayed on the ground floor and had the two rooms. This was a great place to stay! The location of the B and B was perfect literally 9 doors away from the tube station which was perfect for jumping on and off. We arrived earlier than check in and Sian was lovely and let us leave our cases there whilst we disappeared off to enjoy London! We came back about 10.30pm and the room was all ready and made up, we had breakfast in the morning and sian was there as were other guests and it was such a nice experience, Sian knew what everyone was doing the day before and was so friendly we ended up sitting at breakfast for almost an hour just chatting to Sian and other guests! Lovely and I would highly recommend staying here to everyone! We are now planning on visiting another one of Sian's b and bs in Berlin! Thank you Sian we had a lovely stay!

We popped in yesterday to spend an afternoon in London and to see Bat out of Hell and needed somewhere to stay. Better value than hotels in the centre, 9 minutes on the tube from Leicester Square tube station and then a 1 minute walk from Kennington tube station this end. On the Northern Line so perfect for most of Londons Attractions. We went to the Tate.

We were afforded a lovely warm welcome, shown straight to our room which had an individual bedroom, lounge, bathroom. Rooms were clean, had everything we needed and the shower was great.

Breakfast was extensive, laid out and plenty to pick from. Scones, pain au chocolate, hot cross buns, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt.

When we come back for another show we'll certainly return!

Sian operates an excellent B&B just across the Thames river from the center of London. The Kenning Tube station is a few steps away from the front door and we got everywhere in London easily (and cheaply) from this location. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and well kept. Sian provides an ample breakfast with many selections. She is so helpful and friendly. One morning we needed to get to a section of London not easily accessed by Tube to meet our Tour Group leaving London for a tour of England. Sian personally drove us to the location at 7 am (above and beyond any B&B operator I have ever met in my travels so we would not have to needlessly take a taxi.) THAT is service and helpfulness par excellence! If you are staying in London, looking for a quality B&B run by friendly, service oriented people and enjoy taking the Tube to get everywhere - THIS is place to stay. It is exceptional. I would return in a heartbeat! Price is reasonable and fair.

Room Tip: We had the large suite on the top floor with a small balcony - DELIGHTFUL. However, you need to car...

Just back from a five night visit to London with my wife and 16 year old daughter. We had a great time in this amazing city, on top of that and the weather being wonderful, what really made our visit enjoyable was the accommodation provided by the Kennington B&B. Sian and Tatyana were great hostesses, the continental breakfast was delish and a nice way to start the day. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms and super convenient to the "tube" which meant we could be anywhere (Brixton, Camden, Westminster, the City, etc.) in very little time. The Kennington neighbourhood is nice and my wife and I walked to several restaurants/pubs for dinner and Tesco Express is pretty much across the street from tube station.

Better than a hotel, we hope to be stay at the Kennington B&B again in the future (or one of Sian's other properties) and will highly recommend to friends and family & other visitors to London.

Thanks again,

Doug, Erika & Kate

Great location, reasonable price for London, but disappointed. Nobody attended to the room the entire time we were there. I had accidentally dropped my towel on the floor, and, since nobody came to clean the room, I had to go searching for a towel when we came back in the evening. Also, the breakfast pastries tasted stale, and the Wi Fi was spotty, as I had to continually reconnect.
