Took my mum for her mother's day present.Unfortunately I did not book which was a mistake as the queue was long (90 mins) but once inside it was well worth it.Very interesting and can highly recommend it.

This was a huge hit with our family. We stayed longer than expected (almost 3 hours). The museum is very well done with a lot of interactive displays and so much information about all aspects of Churchill’s rich life. Strongly recommend this!!

Despite queuing in the rain for 45mins, this did not detract from a enjoyable and insightful visit. It brought to life the character of Churchill, so much so when we got home watched the Darkest Hour!!!

Our trip did not start off too well. We arrived in the rain, to find two queues outside, not very long, but not moving either. There were no signs to identify what the two queues were for, so there was much confusion for people turning up.

Despite pre-booking, we waited for almost 45 minutes outside in the rain. When we got to the front of the queue, they started letting in people who hadn't booked. Very frustrating, and something which could be prevented with better planning. We were told that the queue for those with no tickets hardly moves at all, and these people would possibly be waiting hours. So my advice is to still book ahead!

The tour is very good, and the detail of the free audioguide and the exhibitions was excellent. Some of the war rooms were very overcrowded, even trying to navigate out of the gift shop was a pain.

My advice is definetely go, and still book ahead. However, try to go on a weekday instead as I suspect this may have a smaller queue.

We visited Easter weekend with tickets reserved for 2pm. It was very busy and we couldn’t get in until 2:30, just a word of warning in case you have plans later in the day. The museum itself is brilliant, very interesting and shows a side of history you’d not usually be taught/aware of. Well worth a trip. The cafe is good but expensive even for London.
