I picked the hotel on location and availability. I was alone and the room was just large enough to accommodate the double bed and an armchair by the TV. The shower room was very compact and the shower cubicle tiny. However I had a pleasant night's sleep and the bed was comfy.
The breakfast was first rate. The dining room was nearly full, despite which the staff were able to take orders and bring the food very efficiently and promptly.

Stayed for 3 nights to do some Christmas sightseeing and to see the Harry Potter play. Staff were very friendly and attentive, breakfast was good value. Room was basic but as expected (with a super comfy bed). Location is ideal as everything is within close proximity. The cat is super friendly and was usually found in the sitting room, while the ‘Head of Security’ was more wary but likes a treat!

The hotel was recommended to us and we were therefore disappointed to see the size of the bedroom which was supposed to house two people: There was barely room for two adults and luggage. The upside is that the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had no heater and the shower water was cold. It felt like staying in a caravan and at times felt as cold. Breakfast was very good and everyone was very friendly in the restaurant. Great location close to Russell Square and Kings X.

Room Tip: We should have complained about the room - this is good practice.

Very clean hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Located less than 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras or Russell Square stations. We arrived before our room was ready and were told we could leave our bags but we decided to wait in the cosy lounge. There isn't a bar but the staff were happy for us to drink our own wine while we waited. There were 3 of us in Room 10, which is on the ground floor. The room was very clean, with one single and one double bed, which were very comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities, a chair and a small dressing 'shelf' with a stall. The en suite shower room is small but serviceable. We could hear the rumble of the trains as other reviewers have said but none of us found it a problem and it certainly wasn't loud enough to disturb our sleep. We had an issue with our breakfasts but the staff were very good at sorting this out for us. There is a nice pub just around the corner and nearby convenience stores.
