Owner description: Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

My friend and I used a voucher bought through VirginExperiences to visit the RAH. The pre booking was extremely smooth (thanks Alex). Upon arrival at the RAH, it's very clear where to go (door 12) and where to hang around before the tour starts. We were in a group of approximately 20 other people which was just the right amount. Our guide was Millie and she had a nice mix of interesting information with British humour thrown in for good measure! She was knowledgable and could answer any questions thrown at her! Thanks Millie.
We also had afternoon tea in Verdi. This was wonderful. I forgot to mention that my friend was vegan before booking but this was no trouble at all to Verdi. I was seriously impressed. They kept apologising for the slight delay but I was the one at fault for not mentioning it when booking!
I couldn't possibly comment on the actual 'tea' as the cocktails looked too nice so we had a couple of them instead.
Would I go back here? Sure! It was a great experience and the RAH was fascinating.

A great venue and a great evening.
A full house to help celebrate and almost no queuing for drinks and ease of entry and exit. Very well organised.

We saw the Royal Air Force Massed Bands preform a concert to mark the 100th Birthday of the Royal Air Force on 31 March 2018. The concert was excellent. The only complaint was that is was very hot sitting upstairs.

Really enjoyed a visit to this building and a look around the place, the royal box,the Royal waiting room, the VIP bar,and even the information video at the end of the tour.
The tour last about an hour and twenty minutes, the tour goes twice per day,the first at 10.30am and then 1.30 pm in the afternoon, it cost £13.00 ,I did not book,I paid at the office on the day, fifteen minutes walk from the nearest tube.
