We've stayed at the Baglioni before several years ago, and went back there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We're always slightly wary about returning to a place in case it doesn't live up to the previous visit, but we shouldn't have worried as it was excellent again. From the moment we arrived the doormen, Alessandro on the front desk and the Butler service made us feel extremely welcome. All the Bar and Breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive. The suite with a view over Kensington Gardens was superb. Our only quibble related to the cooked breakfast which was disappointing for the money (£34), especially as our poached eggs were hard boiled (we had to ask for replacements). From our experience, some 5 star hotels don't always manage to balance a luxurious environment with a welcoming one, but the Baglioni does. Thanks for a lovely stay; looking forward to returning in the near future.

Had heard gracious comments about the Baglioni London from business colleagues but was surprised by how personal the experience actually was.
Besides the luxurious deco, professional service and amazing food, what struck me most was the personal touch delivered by al the team. From the charismatic Federico in the reception desk, to the ever efficient manager Emilio in the bar, i have felt at home from day one. Having such a personal service is hard to manage without being intrusive but they have found the magic formula.
I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat whether on business or pleasure. The location is perfect too.

From the moment I was greeted, exiting the cab, The Baglioni London impressed me. The staff were all exceptionally attentive and competent; the facility was clean, stately, and lavishly (but tastefully) decorated; and the location is ideal. There was a personal connection with every member of house: from the barman to the doorman, and the impressively knowledgable concierge, in between.
The atmosphere is warm and rich, with gold embellishments throughout and gentle piano in the lobby/bar in the evening. My room (I was situated in a Junior Suite) was generously specious without feeling sterile, as some larger rooms tend to do. The fixtures/finishes/furniture/art were all becoming of a TRUE 5-star hotel -- you could not want for more. My room was supplied with dedicated heat and A/C (as we Americans tend to demand), and offered 3-prong European and American outlets, as well -- a pretty nice touch, if you ask me. Additionally, the bed was comfortable (I'm a 250 lb man), the walls and door were thick, the towels were soft, the curtains were blackouts, and the fridge was cold.
I could not be more enamored with my stay at The Baglioni London, and I'm pretty picky, having stayed in 5-stars in most major cities around the world. I will be adding London to my next itinerary, simply to enjoy this hotel, again.

Room Tip: Book with the hotel directly -- they will always advise and book you, best.

Stayed in a junior suite overlooking the park. The hotel is close to The Royal Albert Hall and Kensington high street so lots of places to eat nearby.
The staff were lovely and very attentive, the breakfast was delicious. If you’re staying with kids be sure to visit the Princess Diana Playground which is just a short walk away.
