We regularly pop into Colbert when out in London and always enjoy it. It’s always busy with a jolly atmosphere, often a celeb or two (Richard E Grant, Nigel Havers and Kate Moss) to spot.

The food is good French brasserie style with a few additions (the kedgeree is excellent) and the service is both friendly and highly competent, they manage to keep a reasonable pace even when it’s heaving and they’ve never lost an order when we’ve been there.

It isn’t cheap (the drinks prices in particular are on the high side) but given the rent and rates for that part of town it’s probably fair value for the high quality.

This is a fancy restaurant that is popular with an upscale crowd. Rolls Royce’s and Ferraris are usually parked out front. The service is excellent as is the good. It’s fun to people watch here to see how the upper crust live. Prices are high but still affordable. Worth a visit!

Oysters from Scotland ok and fresh. I Crusty cod was cold and not crusty at all. The so called CRUST tasted like cold galette from Britanny.....the cold cod seemed fresh though.... I call it a no return.

Great bar with nice and professional bar staff. The staff is amazing & sometimes quite entertaining if you engage in a conversation with them. Great dry martini and sazerac. The bartenders, Dean and Angela deserve special mention for making our late night stops enjoyable.

We hadn't been to this restaurant in years but as it had been refurbished and we were going to Cadogan Hall for a concert thought we would try it. This is the only restaurant in the stable that lets itself down. The menu meeds to be more comprehensive, we really striggled to find something we fancied. We ordered steaks well done, mine came nearly talking to me. Chips...soggy and cold goodness knows what they were fried in. I won't comment on the sode salad. The tables are too close togetjer, consequently we have the waiter/waitress nearly eating our food for us. It is noisy, you really cannot have a decent conversation. Shame because all the other restaurants are brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful which is better than we experienced before
