We booked a room last minute and it was the last room available. We arrived at the pub and parked, went in early (10.30) but got a very warm welcome and an offer of a coffee. They said we couldnt check in until 12pm but they got our room ready early and checked in at 11am. Awesome service! Unfortunately our room was a bit of a let down, but we were going out for the day and night and didnt return until 12am. We slept absolutely fine, despite regular traffic, it was generally fine. The shower room was TINY - probably about 1.5ft wide, but we weren't there for luxury! It was really a place to lay our heads for the night, and perfectly suited for us. Breakfast was a continental spread and set us up for the following day. The onsite parking for both days was appreciated too.

i was too confused, while booking the hotel, and luckily i booked it. and the staff is too good supporting and also offers some more time to stay without any other charges. Really a good experience. Near to station Archway.

We were looking up family history and general history of London so stayed here as near to Highgate cemetery and reasonable price. Patsie is a lovely landlady and her staff are all wonderful, helpful and friendly. This is a pub with b & b. but we had the smallest double room as all that was available this weekend and it was very small and had a very soft and lumpy mattress. The bed greets you as soon as the inner door is opened, so you need to be smallish, as we are luckily, to get round it to enter the room. Clean enough room with a balcony that opens on to a builders yard for the pub. The sink is tiny and the shower head has to be turned round to open the shower cubicle doors. Everything you need is in the room but room really too small to accommodate it all. There was even a childs cabin bed up higher near the ceiling with a ladder that we had to move to get in and out of the bed during the night. Pub food and breakfast very good and plentiful. Breakfast staff lovely and eager to please. Would stay again but not in the tiny small double, room 108.

Room Tip: Do not stay in small double room no. 108 unless you are a single person who likes a very soft bed.

Just needed a bed with dinner.. and this place done a perfect job to accommodate my needs. Perfect!
Best Fish & Chips in town! and a lovely Doombar!
Very friendly atmosphere, surrounded by people from all over the world. Perfect if you want to practice French.. as I did!!

Room Tip: Room 112 as even a fridge inside! (Perfect for my pints!)

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Old Crown Inn, to be honest I still don't know what to make of the place! Upon arrival the landlady was lovely, very helpful and warm. We had booked a double room and we're given our key to go upstairs. Upon arrival in the room we realised it was already occupied! We went back downstairs and were informed that another couple had complained about the noise in their room and so had been moved into ours, therefore we ended up with their twin room and they had our double. A little annoying but not a massive issue. Our room was ok. A bit tired looking, duvet covers and towels could have done with replacing! In need of modernising but a nice view. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, a few cereals, old fruit and toast. No fried breakfast here. Overall, the place was fine for what we needed it for but if you are looking for something a bit luxurious probably don't come here. I guess you get what you pay for though!
