We came here for lunch on a Saturday to try the dim sum and can’t believe how many different dishes we were able to try. For a Michelin star restaurant, it is excellent value that some of the smaller dishes and dim sum are £2-3, which means you can try a huge range of dishes. Some of our favourites were the prawn cracker, the tea egg, the sesame puff (which was unlike anything we’d ever eaten before), and as other reviewers have mentioned the duck yolk custard bun was incredible. The cocktails were also beautifully designed. For two of us, the meal came to around £130 which we thought was excellent value for the equivalent of a three course meal, drinks, and coffee and petits four. The service was also very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.

We had a cocktail.. Champagne and candyfloss... Actually very nice.. Hubby had a whisky smoked with duckfat. The staff were friendly welcoming and professional. They explained each course... The regions of China the tastes and this reflected in the stunning dishes we were presented... Each more delicious. Light courses. Melt in the mouth sensations. Would definitely return. Highly recommended

We had the 10 course Taste of China tasting menu and it was amazing. Presentation and taste were great and different. Really like A Wong, food and drinks are great value for money and the food is stunning.

Went with two friends, including one who does not like Chinese food, and we were amazed how good it was. Went with the tasting menu and it was an incredible trip across China. Dishes from different regions with great explanations. Many excellent courses but the soup dumplings really jumped out. Tried some interesting dishes also but none were too challenging that I avoided them. It was a great menu at a reasonable cost.

Also impressed with the wine list, many good choices in the 20-40 range. Went with a Gigondas that worked perfectly with the tasting menu.

Hardworking dedicated staff who explain the dishes to you.
Unusual Dim Sum whig I think is very fresh & tasty.
The Crispy Peking duck was the best I have ever had.
Reasonably priced considering you are getting freshly made food.
