Called in for after theatre drinks. A Shepherd and Neame pub so it's not surprising that Spitfire and Bishop's Finger are found on draught and very nice they are too.

I walked in to the bar and the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the Beef and Ale Pie with Sweet Potato Mash and Onion Rings. It was a lovely relaxed meal with a couple of pints of Bishops Finger.
Hopefully I’ll return.

Worth a visit for the history alone, also the place were the Football Association was formed as well. Had a lovely meal as part of a large group, great service and great value.

Lunch with friends - a pleasant welcome and food served promptly. All very good and enjoyed.

Exception was the fish & chips - greasy and served with a thimble of barely cooked garden peas. Looked like tit had come from a completely different kitchen to the rest of the food. Not good

We were a small company that had lunch there.
And have to say even if we sometimes can be a bit of a test, so the waiters did it perfectly and were super friendly. And the food was good, so all in all, an absolutely perfect experience to be with you. THANKS
