You can’t fault your time on the boat, greet comentery and interesting sights. There was a snack bar that was priced as you would expect, think Ryan air plus’s 20%. Not busy, so at least you could get served. You can buy relatively cheap tickets on line but unfortunately you need to swap them for an actual ticket that no one checks. When we went the que to do this was well over 30 mins, complete waste of time. When you get to the front front the process of swapping your home printed piece of paper for a piece of paper they print takes ages. They read a barcode on the home printed sheet on a mobile phone, before reaping all the details into a computer. They should just give the boat guys the mobile phone app. Once you swap your ticket there is the. Another massive que fir the boat. Hop on hop off, but plan an hour at the terminal first. I would suggest getting the boat from tower bridge, the queue looked smaller, avoid. Westminster it’s massive. It was the only company with these queues, the other companies didn’t have any to speed of. If time is important pay a couple of pounds more and go to one of the others.

The tour was good, until me and my partner realized that the guy who gives history and background information about the sites and buildings did not stop talking for one minute. The boat was only quiet when we stopped at tower bridge for other passengers to disembark. We could not enjoy the tour properly as it felt like we were given a lecture. Maybe you could provide headset on board for people who want to listen.

We took the cruise and between the first two stops it is okay after that it is just a long slow ride. The “professional” seaman provide a talk during the cruise which is interesting enough and then they request tips because this is “voluntary”. Really, who would take a TOUR without some commentary. Take the bus not the boat.

I had a very good time and enjoyed very much of the City Cruise tour as it could show me those main attractions in London.

With the perfect weather of London in June, sitting on the cruise, listening to the professional tour presentation, having snacks ‘n drinks.

I took a lot of beautiful photos during nearly 2-hour tour that I am very satisfied.

It is even complimentary if holding London Pass.

Good to join.
