Disappointed with Barakh. Their Peshawari Naan tasted of sugar, nothing like the description in the menu.

Pity I'm diabetic

Our starter and mains were simply fantastic (fish tikka; duck bhuna, paneer shaslick) and were honestly some of the best curry dishes I've tried, including in India itself! They also included salad, a potato side and some extra chutney for our poppadoms free of charge, which was very kind. The service here is very quick and accurate in terms of collection times, which makes everything stress-free. However, two of our other choices weren't up to the same high standard at all: the sag dal and the cheese naan were a largely tasteless, which really surprised me given the high quality of the rest of the food. Overall though, a great meal.

There are quite a few good Indian takeaway options in the area but this place is top notch every time we have ordered from them. Tasty food, good selection, not too oily, nice spices and ingredients always seem to be high quality and fresh. You can be waiting between 45 to 75 minutes sometimes but guess this is due to their popularity and food freshness, so not an issue but if you're hungry and in a rush you may want to take that in to account.

I can't believe this take away restaurant only has 3 reviews!

It should be on the top top rank right there for what I can only describe as one of the best Indian take away in SE london !!

- quick delivery
- superb food
- good portions
- good value

There is a reason why I've been ordering from them for 3 years.

Well done guys.

Thank Jason A
