We had four great days in the London staying in the Bayswater apartment. The location is fantastic. It's a small apartment, but it has what's needed to create a good base for the visit. Check in and out was easy. Eating in the nearby restaurants and running in Hyde park in the morning - some of the nice memories. A good idea is to rent city bicycles (2 GBP/24 hr) in Hyde park and use them as transport back and forth to the city centre.
The property is very well located, next to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations. The neighborhood is filled with indian, chinese and arabian restaurants, so you´ll have lots of options for dinner. For the braveless, or those who don´t wanna spend too much on food, there are three supermarkets nearby: Tesco, Sainsbury´s and one specialized in asian food.
We were very well received on the check in. The check in agent was very kind and spoke in spanish, making the communication easier for us. The apartment has a beautiful terrace, perfect for resting after a long day walking.
Although small, the apartment suits well for 4 adults. The sofa bed is very comfortable and the room really gets illuminated when the light comes in the morning, but that doesn´t bother us. The bathroom doesn´t have exhaust system, so it gets really hot inside. The shower sometimes releases an unexpected hot squirt of water, but that doesn´t ruin the bath.
We missed some dishcloth in the kitchen because we ate a lot in the apartment. Just a small detail, totally easy to fix.
Anyway, we really enjoyed the apartment and the neighborhood, and definitely would stay another time there. It really helped our stay in London to be more pleasant.
