Meals not great and had no taste. Beef bourgurgion wasn't served with anything. Halloumi burger tasted like plastic. Alcohol was fine but both drinks and food was so overpriced for rubbish food. Waiting on staff were ok but not very attentive. Would only go again for a quick drink after work as close to station but would definitely not recommend for food.

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your meal and I apologise for any dissatisfaction. Your review does not state whether or not you spoke to a member of the team who would have put anything right for you.
The beef was served with creamed potato and any additional sides are available as listed on the menu.
We do hope to see you again and yes we are very handy for Waterloo

Pre-booked for sons birthday. No problem with that. Starters ordered and pretty good but I would like to be able to finish them before the main course was brought to the table with my starter whisked away while I was still eating it without even a question of whether I had finished - clearly I hadn’t!!! and all within a max of 10 mins or ordering (main!, starter was within 1min) - poor, poor.
Mains decidedly average and sadly will not be coming back.
As an aside, our son said the chips tasted exactly like McDs - strangely, there is one across the road - sure that won’t be the case but you never know!!

Apologies for any hiccups when you dined with us and the service being a little too fast . On a positive pleased that the starters were good but concerned that the mains were only average.
Please be reassured that no we do not nip over to MacDonalds to get the chips these are cooked in our kitchen by our chefs

We dined on the rooftop terrace with the heaters. Although a wee bit noisy when a train goes by on the track above, the restaurant is otherwise perfect. The terrace is covered and some (not all) have heaters.
The food is wonderful, but my favourite is the fish pie. (Indeed one night I was lucky enough to get the “last piece.” In other words, the fish pie is extremely popular. The chocolate dessert is also spectacular.

Thank you for your fantastic review which Martina and her team were delighted to receive !
The train ambiance is a distinct feature of Auberge and you are right sitting outside on the terrace is great and yes as we are in the UK heaters are necessary sometimes !
I totally agree that our fish pie is amazing as are many other items ! We are lucky to have a great team of chefs preparing these dishes daily from scratch .
We would be delighted to see you again soon
